This little sweater hits that sweet spot in a knitting project - an engaging stitch pattern that isn't overly difficult, small and portable, and the opportunity to perhaps learn a new technique like crochet! Classic St John's Wort patterning adorns the fronts and back of this cardigan while the sleeves are plain stockinette. A simple crocheted edging finishes off the lower edge, and it uses only single and double crochet stitches.
Basil Sprout is knit in pieces from the bottom up.
